News from Swinholme
Swinholme Cottage availability is on the Sykes Cottage website.
We keep Dexter cows, Welsh badger faced sheep and
Black Rock chickens. We also keep old breeds of pig, like Gloucester
Old Spot, on occasion. Free range eggs from our flock are available for
purchase, as is Dexter meat (frozen) from our own herd, and also pork
(frozen) from our pigs. Lamb will be available in the autumn.

Three pet lambs (Coco, Bo and Peep) have arrived along with Barney
the cockerel.
The lambs are now weaned and enjoying the grass.
Two new Dexter calves were born in May, both bull calves.
All our livestock, apart from the chickens, are now on our land at Barnard Castle.
